Christ-Centered, Bible-Believing, Reformed

Rev. David Myhren
Pastor Myhren was born into a loving Christian home in New York, where his family and church taught him about Jesus from a young age. Dave was blessed to attend college at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA (BS-History, 2014), where he met Christians from many different backgrounds and was challenged to think through his faith on his own.

After graduating, Dave decided to work as a carpenter for several years in northern New Jersey, just outside of New York City. After struggling to discern God’s calling for several years, Dave attended Mid-America Reformed Seminary (MARS) in Dyer, IN, just outside Chicago (MDiv, 2023). Aside from the privilege of learning in the classroom, Dave was mentored by professors and several local pastors. He was blessed to have had the opportunity to complete three hands-on pastoral internships in different contexts.

Dave’s great desire in ministry is to see Christ glorified, God’s people grow in their love for Christ, and new people introduced to Jesus for the first time. To that end, Covenant Presbyterian Church (OPC) of Vandalia has ordained Dave to serve as a minister tasked with planting Bread of Life Church (OPC) in Troy, Ohio.
